At Sentire Healing, we believe that healing begins when we learn to truly feel, not just survive. Rooted in compassion and cultural awareness, our practice provides a safe, affirming space for BIPOC young adults and first-generation individuals navigating anxiety, identity, intergenerational trauma, and life transitions.

"Sentire" means to feel deeply, and that's what this work is all about: slowing down, honoring what lives beneath the surface, and reconnecting with your inner voice. Whether you're exploring your story for the first time or reclaiming parts of yourself that were silenced, Sentire Healing is here to walk with you.

We offer trauma-informed, client-centered care that blends evidence-based tools with space for cultural nuance, emotional wisdom, and self-discovery. This isn’t just about symptom relief, it’s about finding clarity, courage, and connection within yourself.

About Me
Hi, I’m Katherine Santana, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy should feel grounding, supportive, and real.
I’ve spent nearly a decade working with children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and everything in between. My style is collaborative and compassionate. I meet you where you are, and we work together to move toward where you want to be.
Whether you’re overwhelmed, feeling stuck, or simply needing space to breathe and sort through life, I’m here to help. I tailor each session to your needs and bring in practical tools, reflection, and a nonjudgmental presence.
I’m also bilingual in Spanish and happy to offer therapy in either language.
Outside of work, I’m a mom, a wife, and someone who finds joy in meaningful conversations, growth, and good coffee. If you're looking for a therapist who shows up with empathy and a real human connection, welcome.
My Approach to Therapy
At Sentire Healing, our work together is grounded in:

-
Client-Centered & Strength-Based Care: You are the expert of your life. Therapy is a collaborative, empowering journey.
-
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): We use practical tools to help you challenge unhelpful thinking, build coping strategies, and set meaningful goals.
-
Trauma-Informed & Culturally Sensitive: I create a respectful environment for exploring identity, ancestral resilience, and intergenerational experiences.
-
Flexible Modalities: I draw from mindfulness-based techniques (MBCT), Motivational Interviewing, Gestalt, Psychodynamic insights, and Solution-Focused methods to tailor each session to your needs.
Together, we uncover what feels true for you, slow-build trust, and create shifts that support lasting change and self-understanding.
